This is a typically enormous Chongqing private development of housing, offices, hotels, schools, leisure and retail. It is situated on a functioning industrial site adjacent to the E Gong Yan Bridge on the Yangze River. BAU’s proposal is a mosaic of building typologies united by a public green network and a commercial network, and coexisting with a plethora of maintained industrial structures.
